Uh hi.

I've got a bunch of (hopefully nice) pictures coming, including black&whites, as soon as i can be bothered to develop them.

Just as a passing comment incase anyone cared what i was thinking, i really want to expand my camera capacity in kind of two directions at once. Those being digital and film. This can be very difficult. So far i have expanded more toward analogue, luckily I like crappy cameras and crappy film, because of the immediate cost saving. In fact I havent bought anything for my digital slr since i got it, except a tripod.. because of the high cost of digital equipment i'd have to save for quite a while to get anything useful. The same is unfortunately often true of analogue when you start to drift into the lomo realm of cameras. I would love a proper holga with like a colourflash and everything but theres the cost of that plus 120 film then 120 developing, unless i did black&white myself but id really want colour with the holga.. so im stuck. A friend recently got a medium format lubitel(similar to the 166B) and although he hasnt taken any pictures yet, it seems nice, and isnt too expensive so i may get one of those soon. Oh another thought of mine is do i bother to make the investment of a film scanner that can do 120 so i wont have to pay for prints, just the developing, or is hat a massive waste, and which is the best?

Anyway, thats what troubles me.

That and my unfortunate addiction to facebook, that troubles me..

Oh and plus im saving for my ticket to reading festival next year.

this a poem for my friend sam.

beauty is not a word,
nor a feeling.
they are both just things that help us deal with it.
beauty is the flicker of eye lids and the first deep breath of morning.
please understand when i say,
life is just metric expansion.

they stole your microwaves,
but they cant steal your heart.

Hey Sam, me and Tk tried out that matchbox pin hole camera earlier today. We aren't sure if it worked yet as the darkroom door decided to lock on us and we couldn't do it. One thing I have to say about them is that they are quite fiddly to make, we spent two hours doing them today!! :D
